Once we built a few bird-feeders, we realized the wide variety of birds living in our neighborhood. We started taking pictures of birds visiting our bird-feeder, then those that came to our yard and soon after we expanded to our neighborhood.

It did not take long for bird photography to become our new passion and we challenged ourselves to take pictures of every bird species we could see in the Greater Dallas area which roughly covers Dallas, Collin, Denton and Rockwall counties. With variety of birds and plumage changes within the same species it seems to be a life-long assignment.
